Tenant Empowerment Grants
Client: Community Lives Consortium Tenants' Lives Group
Working with service users and staff from Consortium, Cartrefi Cymru, REACH and Drive, plus representatives of relevant community organisations, to find out what problems tenants with learning disabilities experience with anti-social behaviour, and what they would find helpful to help them sort out problems. Developing and piloting information and resources for tenants and support staff.

Client: Wales and West Housing Association Residents' Forum
Working with residents and staff to consult residents on which services are of most importance to them, and their preferences for getting involved in motoring service standards. The organisation used the results of the consulation to develop methods of measuring standards which involve residents in a variety of ways at levels to suit them.

Client: Cardiff Community Housing Association Disability Action Group (DAG)
Working with the DAG - a group of CCHA tenants with disabilities - to raise the profile of the group among CCHA tenants and recruit new members, identify tenants' priorities for future DAG activities, explore options for involvement of members who were unwilling or unable to attend meetings, and develop an action plan for future working of the group and its links with CCHA.

Client: Rhondda Housing Association Tenants' Forum
An options study for a Time Exchange scheme with Rhondda Housing Association tenants. The project involved building links with local organisations, holding a series of community chats to carry out an audit of tenant, skills and needs, study visits to existing time exchange schemes, developing a constitution, and helping the group apply for and obtain funding to employ a time broker to carry out the action plan.

Client: Cardiff Women's Aid SAFE group
Project to increase the membership of the group, identify priorities for future activities and develop terms of reference to enable the group to be more user led. The project involved a questionnaire and telephone chats with service users to gather views, identifying an accessible venue for the group, developing a programme of events to reflect members' interests, holding a social event and a 'get involved' morning on volunteering opportunities, and developing and agreeing terms of reference and splits of responsibility between the group and Cardiff Women's Aid.

Client: Glamorgan and Gwent Residents' Forum
Project to undertake a review and evaluation of the remit and activities of the Forum, including its relationship with the landlord and with local tenants' groups. The project involves a series of meetings with local groups and forum representatives, producing an information leaflet on the Forum, evaluating information and communication mechanisms between the Forum and GGHA, carrying out study visits, and amending the Forum's constitution and compact.

Client: Rhondda Housing Association Disability Action Group
Project to raise awareness of RHADAG among Rhondda Housing Association tenants and local community organisation, identify tenants' priorities for future activities, explore different options for involvement, and gather information for the organisation's directory for members. The project involved holding a series of community chats and paying individual visits to gather tenants' views, producing a newsletter, undertaking an information search, organising study visits for members and helping the group apply for, and obtain, further funding to carry out the action plan.

Action Days and Consultation
Client: Cadwyn Housing Association
Facilitating focus groups with a sample of tenants, to gather views and suggestions about things that Cadwyn could do to improve the service. The outcomes of the focus groups were used to inform the contents of the tenants' survey, subsequently carried out by Priority Research.

Client: Cadwyn Housing Association
Preparing and facilitating a series of Tenant Action Days for Cadwyn tenants, to gather their views on housing management, maintenance, customer care and tenant participation services, and identify their priorities for improvements, to inform the setting of service standards.

Client: Caerphilly County Borough Council
Series of focus groups with tenants and residents to seek their views on the estate and environment they live in, and on the repairs and maintenance service.

Research
Client: Welsh Assembly Government
Research to evaluate tenant participation in housing management and design across Wales. The study involved a literature and practice review, an evaluation of tenant participation compacts used by social landlords in Wales, a comparison of the framework for tenant participation used in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and England, and the gathering of information and views of landlord and tenant organisations, support providers, national organisations and tenants who are not involved in formal tenant participation structures, through questionnaires, telephone interviews and focus groups.

Working with tenants and staff to compile a Tenants' Support Charter and accompanying video, for tenants with learning disabilities. The Support Charter provides information about the support service and living in your home.

Researching and compiling a directory of service user involvement in supported housing which includes a range of examples of success and key practice points, provided by fifty organisations identifying problems, solutions and successes.

Client: SITRA
Compiling a workbook to enable practitioners to acquire knowledge and skills to develop tenant participation in supported housing. The workbook is divided into seven study units which include practical exercises and questions and examples of good practice covering a range of projects and support needs.
