Working with the Board of Management and staff to develop accessible information and Board practices to enable tenants with learning disabilities to join the Board. Attending pre-meetings and Board meetings to support tenant Board members. Delivering training to the Board.

Work with tenants with learning disabilities and support staff to develop tools for tenant involvement in recruiting the organisation's first tenant participation officer, including drawing up the person specification and job description, carrying out shortlisting, pre interview preparation, involvemenet in information and formal interviews and the final decision on appointment. Producing report and accompanying resources.

Client: Welsh Federation of Housing Associations
In response to issues identified in the Tai Trothwy project, developing an easy to understand information pack and video about how shorthold assured tenancies are used in supported housing. The pack and video was produced with the active participation of supported housing tenants and staff. Further funding was subsequently granted by the Welsh Assembly Government to produce copies for distribution to all tenants groups throughout Wales.

Client: Tai Trothwy
Evaluating the impact of the use of assured shorthold tenancies on successful support planning. Identifying good practice and gathering tenant and staff views on the use of assured shorthold tenancies in a range of supported housing projects.

Client: Federation of Housing Associations and TPAS Cymru
Research into whether variations or additions are needed to current agreements surrounding the supported housing tenancy. Developing a model Support Charter - an agreement between support providers and tenants, setting out their rights, responsibilities and expectations relating to the support service, with accompanying leaflets and audio tapes.
